Onkle Doug's Background Collection
To download, you usually can click your right mouse button on an image then select
"save image as" to pick the image you want. You will then have to tell the computer
which folder you wish to save it in. If this is your first time doing this, then go
into "My Computer" and set up a folder before you begin to copy any of these files.

Images appearing on various pages in these
listings have been collected primarily from
The A-1 Icon Archive which contains an assortment of free graphics you can
use on your own website.
A few of the backgrounds, added in 1999, came from an interesting website, called
Webweaver, on their "Freestuff" directory.
[These are the items listed with the names "bg" plus a number or "tex" plus a number,
as JPEG (xxx.jpg) images.] These backgrounds were created by Sam Zaydel; he has
several others on that site to choose from, so try a couple, then send them a thank you
note, if you decide to use their graphics!
The "bghorses.gif" background above was "borrowed" from a Geocities collection located
in the Enchanted Forest Neighborhood. I found it when I was helping my niece get
together a homepage about her
"Geokids." You have to drop by her site to get the scoop on her geographically
named family!
