This is Onkle Doug's

"Go 4 It" Picture Formatting Page One

If you would like to see a real webpage that was set up using the basic format presented on this page, just follow this hyperlink to one of Sierrama's Geokids Pages. (She's my niece, and the reason this series has "Onkle Doug" in the title.) After you get there, you will have to use your browser's back arrow to return to this site. Or you may wish to bookmark this page before clicking on the hyperlink. ["Sierrama" has progressed wonderfully in her use of HTML; I had to change this link from her index page because she now includes a table and other fancy stuff, which are too advanced to start off with. Many of the more complex formats will be introduced later in these format pages -- or you can look at some of the support pages, such as lists of graphics, the "instnt" pages, etc. to find more complex formats you are free to copy and use.]

This page is labeled as: Picture Formatting Page One

For your convenience in finding and deciding on the format you wish to use, we have provided easy links to the the other formatting pages in this position on each page. Be sure to remove the code for these links when you create your own page! To do that, just use the mouse to highlight the text to be removed, and press the delete key.

<IMG SRC="eyedown.gif">, which is the graphic line used immediately above this hint. You will find several of these graphic lines in the graphics portion of this set of pages. [Be sure to delete this hint, or replace it with text related to the page you are creating!]

Now that you have seen how this sample page looks virtually without any graphics, you might want to see an example that is at least partially completed. We anticipated that...so just windsurf right on over to a draft page put together for kuzzin George, after a family reunion in 1998.

The "Kuzzin George" page has the picture formats done just a bit differently than on this page, e.g., the locations of single pictures, two pictures together, and three pictures together are in a different order. It actually has places for six sets of pictures, with internal page hotlinks up and down, etc., for you to try out. It also includes formats for navagating between pages similar to the ones on the other "Onkle Doug" pages, if you feel advanced enough to try that approach. It's mainly here as a sample that shows how this page would look with real text and pictures instead of "fake links" for the pictures and brief statements like "INSERT YOUR TEXT HERE."

If you wish, you may simply return to the first picture -- Or go to the top of the page and start over.

To return to the previous page, use the Back Arrow of your browser, or you can click on your right mouse button to find a back menu. This link will get you back to the main [INSERT NAME OF YOUR MAIN PAGE] .
If you want to go there, check out Onkle Doug's Instant Webpage Coding page too!
